Blackstar Fly3 Mini Vintage

The FLY 3 Vintage is an innovative, cutting-edge 3-watt mini amp combining two channels, tape delay and the Blackstar patented Infinite Shape Feature (ISF), creating the perfect compact and portable guitar amplifier. It’s advantageously small and packs a punch with a big TONE, even at the lowest volumes.

Countless hours were spent on the cabinet's design to achieve a sonic performance not normally found in a mini amp. The housing is sealed and tuned to ensure optimum tonal response and the material used has been mathematically modelled to have the Young’s Modulus of wood. This retains the bass response usually associated with a wooden cabinet.

The use of a full-range driver eliminates the need for a subwoofer. This has the benefit of removing the requirement for a crossover and the negative sonic impact that can have. The key part of a guitar’s tone occurs in the frequencies normally affected by a crossover and for music playback the performance is similar to nearfield monitors.

Hours of research and development time were dedicated to the FLY 3 and Fly 103 to ensure they deliver the ultimate sonic performance as a portable music speaker. The FLY 3 is battery-powered and has a competition-beating battery life (when set at around half volume) meaning you can listen to your tunes or play your guitar for hours.

Patented ISF

FLY 3 comes equipped with our patented ISF EQ, allowing you to effortlessly dial in incredible sounds. Fully counterclockwise has an American characteristic with a tight bottom end and aggressive middle. Fully clockwise has a British characteristic which is more ‘woody’ and less aggressive. 

Emulated Line Out

FLY 3 also features Emulated Line Out, perfect for ‘silent’ practice or home recordings, keep your Blackstar tone no matter the volume. 

In-built 'Tape' Delay

The FLY 3 features an in-built ‘tape’ delay effect with time and level controls. Dial in ambiance from characterful slapback to epic-sounding long repeats.

Organic Cleans & Overdrives

The overdrive channels on the FLY 3 have been meticulously designed to clean up with your guitar volume, just like your main amp would. This allows for endless tonal textures and an addictive playing experience.
